London-based AI startup Tallia has raised €4 million ($4.5 million) in Seed funding to expand its research and drafting platform for tax and accountancy professionals. The company was previously known as Revax.
The round was co-led by Outward VC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Portfolio Ventures, Expedite Capital, Paul Forster, Angus Miln and several angel investors also took part.
Founded in 2025 by Jack Mander and Alexander Bartlam, Tallia is designed to help tax teams use generative AI for research and drafting while retaining accuracy, traceability and professional oversight. Its platform links AI-generated answers to relevant legislation, regulatory guidance and case law so advisers can check the supporting sources.
Tallia says its system can also draw on a firm’s internal documents, contracts, templates and previous work. Structured review workflows let senior professionals assess the reasoning and evidence behind AI-generated material. The platform works across Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
According to the company, Tallia can produce a cited first draft in an average of 30 seconds, and teams using the platform save an average of five hours per fee earner each week. The new funding will support wider adoption among tax and accountancy firms.
