Evertrue Capital has closed its debut fund at €15 million ($17 million), with plans to back pre-Seed founders developing frontier technologies, primarily in the UK and Europe. The firm aims to invest €299,000 to €599,000 (£250,000 to £500,000) in each company and says it will make a concentrated number of investments each year rather than pursue a high-volume portfolio strategy.
The fund is backed by Phoenix Court through Basecamp, its fund of funds for emerging managers, as well as the British Business Bank, Better Society Capital, Bootstrap 4F (Invest in Women Taskforce) and Allocator One.
Founder and General Partner Yvonne Bajela said the firm looks for founders with a deep understanding of a problem, often informed by personal experience, and the conviction to build before a market has provided proof. She said Evertrue aims to provide those founders with capital, access and support.
Evertrue has already invested in seven companies, including Revion, which develops agentic AI for the automotive sector; AI capability and efficiency lab Poindexter Labs; fintech infrastructure company Zuba; and enterprise knowledge platform Zaro. The firm said half of its portfolio has launched operations in the United States.
Bajela previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Mitsui & Co., where she invested in technology companies including Wise. She later joined Impact X Capital, leading its Seed investment in Marshmallow, and became a Partner at Phoenix Court, where she backed companies including Moove.
Evertrue’s close adds to a series of European early-stage fund announcements in 2026. The source reports that the disclosed amounts across the funds it lists total approximately €145 million including Evertrue. Earlier this year, the British Business Bank named Evertrue among its first microfund recipients.
