Estonian startup Roleo has raised €2.9 million to expand its personal AI career agent across Europe and help technology professionals discover relevant career opportunities without having to search and apply for jobs themselves.

The funding round was led by Baltic venture Capital firm Practica Capital and included participation from Nordic investor Inventure. Roleo has now secured €3.46 million in total funding.

Founded in 2025, Roleo was created by Janer Gorohhov, co-founder of identity verification company Veriff, and Vahur Hansen, a former member of Wise’s early engineering team and co-founder of Membo.

The platform learns about users’ experience, ambitions and preferences, including their expectations around compensation, flexibility, responsibilities and professional development. It then identifies relevant opportunities across Europe and can connect users with employers when there is mutual interest, without requiring candidates to submit a traditional application.

Roleo says users retain control over their visibility, personal information and whether they want to pursue a particular opportunity. The service is free for professionals and already includes users from companies such as Google, Amazon, Stripe and Spotify.

Since the start of 2026, Roleo’s agent has connected users with 30,000 career opportunities that they explored further. The new funding will support the company’s expansion into European markets and continued product development, including ways to make the service more responsive to individual needs and extend its support beyond job matching.

“Most people spend years building their careers, but only actively manage them when something goes wrong or they decide it is time for a change,” said Janer Gorohhov, Roleo’s co-founder and CEO. He said the company aims to provide people with an active career agent that understands their goals, monitors the market and brings relevant opportunities to them.

Practica Capital partner Donatas Keras said the firm saw potential in Roleo’s founders, citing their operational experience, clear short-term plan and long-term vision. Angel investor Markus Villig, founder and CEO of Bolt, also backed the team, highlighting Gorohhov’s experience building Veriff and Hansen’s work at Wise.
