Easol, an experience commerce platform based in London, has successfully closed a Series A extension round totaling €26.78 million ($30 million). This latest investment brings the company's total capital raised since its inception to €53.57 million ($60 million). The financing package is structured with €17.85 million ($20 million) in equity and an €8.92 million ($10 million) debt facility provided by Viola Credit.

The equity portion of the round was led by Y Combinator, with participation from Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital, and Eight Roads. Founded in 2021 by Ben and Lisa Simpson, former creators of Rise Festival, Easol was established to address the fragmentation experience businesses faced when managing operations across disconnected tools. The founders aimed to create a unified system that allows clients to maintain full ownership of their data while consolidating bookings, payments, marketing, customer support, and guest information under a single domain.

The new funding will accelerate the development and launch of Teammates, Easol's new agentic AI tools built natively into the platform. These agents are designed to help experience businesses automate critical functions in sales, support, and operations by leveraging live business data. According to the company, Teammates can identify missed revenue opportunities, resolve guest queries, update bookings, and surface actionable insights automatically.

Early deployments of the technology have demonstrated significant financial impact for clients. In one instance, a Teammates agent identified approximately $50,000 in upsell opportunities from guests who had not added extras to their bookings and automatically generated outreach to pursue them. Another client reportedly recovered $28,000 in outstanding payments within seconds using the tool. Eve Szlendak, Head of Sales at State of Play Hospitality UK, noted that the new dashboards now provide instant information that previously required up to three days of manual report building.

Since its launch, Easol has expanded its operations with offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles. As of 2026, the platform has facilitated bookings for 2.8 million guests across more than 135 countries. Its client roster includes major names such as Coachella, Stagecoach, Defected, Afronation, Rapha, Swingers – The Home of Revelry, Boots in the Park, State of Play Hospitality, Bingo Loco, Snowboxx, The Cube, and Hijingo.

Ben Simpson, co-founder and CEO of Easol, stated that while the platform was originally built to give experience businesses control over their technology, AI now enables them to scale revenue in ways previously unimaginable. With rising costs and tighter margins in the sector, Simpson emphasized that digitizing the experience economy is a commercial necessity rather than just a convenience. The company views AI as a competitive advantage for operating, analyzing, and taking action across entire businesses amidst surging demand for live experiences.
