The Dow Jones rose by more than 1,000 points on Wednesday following the Democrats’ success in the Midterm elections, according to a report by US markets expert Markus Koch for Handelsblatt Live.
Investors appeared to expect that political uncertainty would decline in the coming period, the report said.
