The United States will mediate working-level negotiations between Ukraine and Russia in Abu Dhabi on November 10–11, according to US special envoy Steve Witkoff. The talks are intended to advance efforts toward ending the war.
Witkoff said the agenda would include post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian assistance and further steps toward peace.
US representatives are also due to meet this week in Brussels with officials from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the European Union and NATO. Those discussions will address security guarantees for Ukraine, Europe’s post-war security arrangements and support for Ukraine’s reconstruction.
