President Donald Trump pointed to a historical pattern that could work against Republicans in the upcoming Midterm elections, as the party currently holds majorities in both chambers of Congress.
“ For some reason, the incumbent doesn’t win the midterms,” Trump said on Monday, according to the report. Republican control of both chambers has lasted for nearly two years.
