French AI company Mistral’s current list of 12 available Connectors includes services such as Gmail, Slack, Notion, GitHub and Stripe, but none of the companies listed is European. The absence has raised questions about Europe’s competitiveness, despite the presence of several regional software companies that could potentially join the ecosystem.

Mistral’s Connectors link its AI tools with external applications, allowing users to retrieve information, analyse records and, where authorised, carry out actions without switching between different services. Based on EU-Startups’ coverage from November 2021 to November 2026, ten European startups and scale-ups stand out as possible candidates for future managed integrations.

Attio, a London-based CRM company founded in 2019, raised €44 million in August 2025. Its platform organises customer data, sales pipelines and workflows, while its REST API, webhooks and OAuth support could enable an AI assistant to retrieve customer records or update pipeline information.

Belfast-based Cloudsmith raised €61.5 million in a Series C round in April 2026. Founded in 2016, it manages software packages, repositories and supply-chain security. Its REST API could support developer-focused workflows, including inspecting repositories, retrieving package details or reviewing software policies.

Barcelona-based Factorial raised €129 million in a June 2026 Series D round, reaching a valuation of €2.1 billion. The company began with human resources software and expanded into expenses, project management and training. Its API and OAuth integrations could allow authorised users to access employee information, leave requests and administrative workflows.

Mews, founded in Amsterdam in 2012, secured €255 million in January 2026. Its hospitality operating system covers reservations, hotel operations, guest management and payments, and includes an Open API ecosystem. A potential integration could help hotel operators retrieve booking or occupancy information through Mistral.

Paris-based Pennylane raised €75 million in April 2025. Its platform combines accounting, invoicing, expense management and financial reporting, with APIs and OAuth support for integrations. A Connector could potentially retrieve invoices, access accounting records or summarise spending, although the sensitivity of financial data would require strong access controls.

Perk, founded in Barcelona and rebranded in 2025, raised €191 million in a January 2025 Series E round. The company manages employee travel, bookings, invoices and spending. Its REST APIs and webhooks could support requests for travel itineraries, booking details or expenditure information.

Personio, headquartered in Munich, raised €190 million in a 2022 extension of its Series E financing. Its HR platform covers employee administration, recruitment, attendance and absences. API-based integrations could give HR teams access to authorised records and processes, although employee data would require carefully designed permissions.

Belgian startup Spott raised €18.3 million in September 2026. Founded in Leuven in 2024, it develops recruitment software combining applicant tracking, CRM tools and AI-powered workflows. Its open API and separate MCP offering could support natural-language searches across candidate records, vacancies and recruitment pipelines.

Storyblok, based in Linz, Austria, raised €73.6 million in June 2024. Its headless content management system includes APIs for retrieving, creating and updating content, as well as OAuth-based access to its Management API. A Mistral integration could help marketing teams find published material or prepare website updates.

Finally, Barcelona-based Typeform secured €123 million in March 2022. The company provides online forms, surveys and interactive experiences, with documented APIs and OAuth authentication. A managed Connector could potentially summarise survey responses, identify recurring customer complaints or create forms from a conversation.

Together, these companies illustrate the range of European platforms that could extend Mistral’s integrations across CRM, software development, human resources, hospitality, finance, travel, recruitment, content management and customer feedback.
