Madrid-based Talky Labs has raised €1.5 million in a pre-Seed funding round to advance its artificial intelligence technology for accounting and financial operations. The investment was closed in September 2026 and will support recruitment, product development and improvements to the company’s technical infrastructure.

The round included venture capital firms HelloWorld, Silence VC, Motive Force and Aera Capital, along with angel investors including Sebastián Gunningham, CEO of Remitly; Paul Golbaum, CEO of Lightbase and former CTO of Seedtag; and Javier Morenés.

Founded in 2025 by Jorge Beamonte, CEO, and Maximilian Letón, COO, Talky develops software designed to automate accounting processes that often depend on accountants’ experience and knowledge of internal company practices. The company says its nine-person team has already processed more than 1.8 million documents and over €2 billion in client expenditure through its platform.

Talky’s technology learns from historical accounting records and the way financial teams have handled previous transactions. It is designed to identify accounting criteria that are not always documented and apply them to new operations, including unusual invoices and other exceptions that conventional automation tools may send for manual review.

The platform can read invoices, suggest accounting entries, check tax information and reconcile bank transactions before registering the results in a client’s enterprise resource planning system. When it lacks enough information to make a decision, it identifies the employee who should be consulted. According to Talky, the system processes between 86% and 93% of accounting documents without human intervention.

“Every company has its own way of doing accounting, and it’s almost never written down,” said Beamonte, co-founder and CEO of Talky. He added that the platform learns those criteria, applies them to complex cases and converts them into information that can support better decisions.

The funding will help Talky expand among large companies and financial services providers handling high transaction volumes. The startup plans to grow its team while continuing to develop the platform with existing customers.
