Italy’s 2027 Budget Law has begun its parliamentary process with a package of 19 key measures. The proposals include direct bonuses, tax incentives, tax credits and state contributions for families, young people, housing, businesses and healthcare.

According to the plan, the measures are intended to support purchasing power, encourage investment and accompany the country’s digital and ecological transition.

The section focused on families, parenthood and younger generations includes eight key measures. Among them is a car-tax bonus for large families: an INPS contribution of up to €385.71 for cars with between six and nine seats used by households with at least four children.

The proposal also introduces a benefit for working mothers, providing €100 per month free of tax to employed and self-employed women with two or more children.

Another measure is the “Valore nuovi nati” fund, designed for children born from 2027. The state would pay €100 per year into an account held in the child’s name until the age of 18. Voluntary contributions to the account would also qualify for a 19% personal income tax deduction.
