The Il Sole 24 ORE Group has activated a broad program of editorial, digital, and live initiatives for the 2026 Financial Education Month. Leveraging its entire ecosystem, which includes the daily newspaper, Plus24, Radio 24, 24Ore Podcast, the website, and IlSole24OreTV, the group aims to provide citizens, families, students, and savers with concrete tools. The objective is to foster a deeper understanding of economics, savings, and investments, enabling individuals to approach decisions affecting their future with greater awareness.
A central component of this campaign is a new series of guides titled "Financial Self-Defense Manual: Your Rights," designed to help readers protect themselves and manage disputes with banks, financial intermediaries, and insurance companies. These three guides, written in accessible language, will be available every Saturday alongside Il Sole 24 Ore and Plus24. The first installment, released on November 7, focuses on mortgages, loans, and bank accounts, detailing protections offered by the Banking and Financial Arbitrator. The second guide, scheduled for November 14, addresses investments and the role of the Arbitrator for Financial Disputes. The final volume, launching on November 21, covers insurance policies and the Insurance Arbitrator.
Complementing these rights-focused guides is a special publication titled "Buying, Selling, and Renting a Home," available in newsstands on Tuesday, November 17. This guide addresses the housing market as a primary investment for Italian families, noting current stagnation alongside rising prices that complicate finding accommodation. The publication provides practical examples and expert advice covering every phase of the real estate process, from purchase to sale and rental. It also highlights new housing forms emerging for younger and older demographics, while dedicating significant space to housing measures in the 2027 Budget, including deductions, furniture bonuses, and flat-rate taxation on rents.
