Swedish venture capital firm Creandum has raised $750m for its eighth fund, marking the largest fund in the firm's history. The fundraising comes amid growing investor interest in artificial intelligence startups and larger early-stage funding rounds.

Creandum is known as a backer of Lovable. The firm has also tripled its presence in San Francisco over the past two years, highlighting its increased focus on the US technology and venture capital market.

The new fund will position Creandum to continue backing early-stage companies during a period of intense competition for promising AI startups. The firm’s fundraising reflects the broader push by venture investors to secure exposure to the sector through earlier-stage investments.
