Titan OS, a Barcelona-based technology, entertainment and advertising company, has raised €40 million to develop its smart TV operating system and expand its business. The financing includes participation from existing investors Highland Europe and Mangrove Capital Partners, as well as a credit facility from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock.

The round follows Titan OS’s €50 million Series A, reported in December 2025, and brings the company’s total funding to €97 million. CFO Hyoung-Ung Kim said the operating system is now in millions of homes and described the new capital as support for entering new markets and building a global business from Barcelona.

Founded in 2023 by Jacinto Roca, Timothy Edwards, Miquel Barba and Tobias Pfalzgraff, Titan OS offers an independent, Linux-based platform for smart TVs. It is designed to replace systems such as Android TV or Roku and is licensed to manufacturers including Philips, AOC, JVC, Vestel, Skyworth and Sharp.

For TV makers, the platform offers customisable software and a revenue-sharing advertising model. Viewers get a smart TV home screen that brings together global apps, live television and free streaming content, including free ad-supported streaming TV channels. The company says it has increased its revenues fifteenfold.

Titan OS plans to use the funding to strengthen its position as an independent European TV operating system, expand partnerships with manufacturers and invest in its product and advertising technology. Highland Europe General Partner Laurence Garrett said the company’s model connects TV manufacturers, advertisers and viewers, and that his firm was increasing its investment.
